As a web designer, I work with small businesses, and I design all websites on WordPress, usually with Blocksy and Brizy Pro. I also offer optional hosting, tools, and maintenance plans depending on your needs.
For blog sites, however, I would strongly encourage you to get started with a premium WordPress theme rather than designing the website from scratch. That will save you time and money! If you’d like my help, I can help you set it all up, and I also offer ongoing management services.
